These Terms & Conditions apply to services supplied by Miss Wrapz Ltd (“Miss Wrapz”, “we”, “us” or “our”), including vehicle wrapping, vehicle graphics and signwriting, window tinting, paint protection film (“PPF”), vinyl installation, removal and associated preparation services.
By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, confirming a booking, supplying a vehicle or other item for work, or instructing Miss Wrapz to commence work, you confirm that you have read and accepted the applicable Terms & Conditions below.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects a consumer's statutory rights.
Quotations are based on the information, photographs, designs and vehicle/object condition made available to us at the time of quoting.
If additional work, preparation, cleaning, removal, dismantling or other unforeseen work becomes necessary once the vehicle or object is inspected, we will advise you where reasonably possible before carrying out significant additional chargeable work.
Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude work that could not reasonably have been identified at the quotation stage.
Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate.
Where a deposit or booking payment is requested, the booking will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
Deposits may be used towards materials, design work, production time and reserving installation capacity.
Where bespoke, printed, cut or specifically ordered materials have already been produced or purchased for your project, you may be responsible for those costs if the booking is subsequently cancelled or materially changed.
Any applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms will be communicated at the point of booking.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation rights which a consumer may have under applicable UK consumer law.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle or object presented for installation is in a suitable condition.
Vinyl, PPF and window film rely upon the condition of the underlying surface. Existing defects may affect the appearance, adhesion, longevity and removal of the installed product.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Modern paint repairs can sometimes be extremely difficult to identify visually. Miss Wrapz cannot guarantee the integrity of paint, lacquer, filler or previous repair work that we did not carry out.
Where paintwork, lacquer or another underlying surface has poor adhesion, vinyl removal or repositioning during installation may cause that surface to lift.
Miss Wrapz will not be responsible for failure or damage resulting from a pre-existing defect, previous repair, unsuitable surface or other condition that could not reasonably have been caused by our work.
This does not exclude liability where damage has been caused by a failure by Miss Wrapz to exercise reasonable care and skill.
Vehicles should arrive reasonably clean and free from excessive mud, dirt, grease, wax, polish and other contamination.
Where excessive cleaning is required before installation can commence, a standard £100 excessive cleaning charge will apply.
Where the condition of the vehicle requires cleaning or preparation substantially beyond what could reasonably be covered by the standard cleaning charge, additional labour may be chargeable. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you before undertaking significant additional chargeable work.
Additional preparation, removal or remedial work may also be charged at the applicable hourly rate.
If the customer has undertaken their own surface preparation, including sanding, adhesive removal, paint correction, sticker or adhesive removal or other body preparation, we cannot guarantee failures resulting from that preparation.
A vinyl wrap is not a paint finish.
Depending on the vehicle, material, design and panel shape, an installation may require seams, joins, overlaps, inlays, relief cuts or other recognised vinyl installation techniques.
Where these are required, Miss Wrapz will make reasonable efforts to position them discreetly and achieve a professional finish.
Certain recesses, edges, textured plastics, heavily curved surfaces and other difficult areas may not be suitable for seamless coverage.
To achieve the appropriate standard of installation, components may need to be removed or loosened.
These can include, but are not limited to:
We will exercise reasonable care when removing and reinstalling components.
Older, brittle, previously damaged, modified or incorrectly fitted clips, fasteners and components may break during reasonable removal.
Where we identify an existing defect, we will record it where reasonably practicable.
Miss Wrapz is not responsible for failure of a component caused by its pre-existing condition, age, previous damage, modification or previous repair.
Design proofs are visual representations produced on a flat digital template.
The finished installation may differ slightly because of vehicle curvature, panel gaps, handles, recesses, body lines, physical obstructions and other characteristics of the actual vehicle.
Miss Wrapz will make reasonable efforts to reproduce the approved design as closely as physically possible.
Where a customer approves a final proof, the customer is responsible for checking the information contained within it, including:
Changes required because information approved by the customer was incorrect may be charged additionally, including design, production, removal and reinstallation costs.
Colours displayed on a screen are not an exact representation of printed or manufactured vinyl colours.
Screens, printers, inks, substrates, design software and lighting conditions can all cause colour variation.
Where colour accuracy is critical, please request a physical sample or printed test before approving production.
Where Miss Wrapz installs vinyl, PPF, window film, graphics or another product supplied by the customer or a third party, we cannot guarantee the quality, suitability, age, storage history or performance of that material.
Miss Wrapz does not provide a manufacturer's/product warranty for customer-supplied materials.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, installation failures arising from the characteristics, quality or suitability of customer-supplied material are not covered by the Miss Wrapz installation warranty.
Additional labour required because of defective, unsuitable or difficult customer-supplied material may be chargeable.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that their vehicle remains compliant with applicable road traffic legislation.
For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, UK law generally requires:
The legal measurement concerns the combined light transmission of the existing glass and any film applied to it.
Miss Wrapz will not knowingly provide a road-use installation that causes the relevant glazing to fall below the applicable legal requirement.
Any film installed outside road-legal requirements must only be used where lawful, for example on a vehicle that is not used on public roads.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the windows and glass are in suitable condition before installation.
Pre-existing scratches, chips, contamination, demister damage and defects within or upon the glass can affect the appearance and longevity of window film.
Any completion date or time provided is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Vehicle condition, additional preparation, material problems, weather, equipment failure, supplier delays, additional customer requests or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect completion.
Nothing can or will be rushed at the expense of installation quality.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of material changes to the expected completion time.
Once notified that work is complete, customers should arrange collection promptly.
Unless otherwise agreed, vehicles or items not collected within 5 days of notification may incur a storage charge of £25 per day, provided the delay is attributable to the customer.
Unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing, payment is due in accordance with the invoice or quotation terms.
For private customer work, the vehicle or item will not normally be released until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions restricts any statutory rights or lawful remedies available to either party.
Customers should inspect completed work when collecting the vehicle or item and notify us of any visible concerns as soon as reasonably possible.
Reporting an issue after collection does not automatically invalidate a legitimate claim.
However, prompt notification allows Miss Wrapz to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify an issue before it deteriorates or is affected by subsequent use, cleaning, damage or third-party intervention.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Miss Wrapz provides a 12-month installation warranty on qualifying installations using Oracal, Avery Dennison, 3M and Arlon vinyl supplied by Miss Wrapz.
Qualifying Global window film installations carry the applicable warranty stated at the time of installation.
The installation warranty covers defects resulting from our workmanship, subject to the exclusions within these Terms & Conditions.
The warranty does not cover failures caused by:
If a covered installation defect occurs, Miss Wrapz must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify the affected area.
Attempted repair or alteration by another person may invalidate warranty coverage for the affected area where that intervention prevents us from determining or correcting the original fault.
Product/manufacturer warranties are separate from the Miss Wrapz workmanship warranty.
Manufacturer warranty claims are subject to the relevant manufacturer's terms, exclusions and assessment.
Miss Wrapz will provide reasonable assistance with a valid manufacturer claim relating to products we supplied.
A manufacturer's rejection of a product warranty claim does not remove any statutory rights that you may independently have against Miss Wrapz.
Removal of vinyl involves an inherent risk where paint, lacquer or previous repairs have poor adhesion.
Miss Wrapz cannot guarantee that previously repaired, resprayed, damaged or otherwise compromised paint will remain intact during removal.
Where Miss Wrapz carries out removal, reasonable care and recognised removal methods will be used.
We do not accept responsibility for underlying paint or surface failure resulting from a pre-existing condition that was not caused by Miss Wrapz.
Customers must follow the aftercare guidance supplied by Miss Wrapz and/or the relevant product manufacturer.
Damage or product failure caused by incorrect washing, pressure washing at close range, aggressive chemicals, abrasion, impact, contamination, neglect or other inappropriate treatment is not covered by the installation warranty.
Where a failure is found to have resulted from improper care rather than installation workmanship, any repair or replacement work may be chargeable.
Where reasonably necessary to carry out the work, the vehicle may need to be moved or driven by Miss Wrapz.
This may include movement within or around the premises, testing, access requirements or another reasonable purpose connected with the work.
Miss Wrapz maintains appropriate insurance for vehicles driven in connection with its business activities.
Dashcams or other recording equipment may be disconnected or disabled while the vehicle is on the premises.
Customers should remove valuable personal belongings before leaving their vehicle with us.
Miss Wrapz cannot accept responsibility for items left within a vehicle except where loss or damage results from our negligence.
We may photograph or record vehicles and completed work for portfolio, website and social-media marketing purposes.
If you do not want your vehicle or project used for marketing, please notify us in writing before work commences.
Where reasonably practicable, identifying personal information will not be deliberately displayed.
Customers are responsible for notifying their insurer of relevant vehicle modifications where required under their insurance policy.
Where a vehicle's registered colour changes, the registered keeper is responsible for notifying the DVLA where required.
We recommend that customers check their obligations with their insurer and the DVLA following relevant modifications.
Primer or another manufacturer-approved adhesion promoter may be used where reasonably necessary to achieve appropriate adhesion or longevity.
This may include areas involving difficult surfaces, edges, recesses or substandard body or paintwork.
The use of primer or adhesion promoter may affect the underlying surface during subsequent removal.
Miss Wrapz is not responsible for underlying paint, lacquer or surface failure caused by a pre-existing weakness or unsuitable surface.
Miss Wrapz will perform its services with reasonable care and skill.
Miss Wrapz is not responsible for unrelated mechanical, electrical or other faults, breakdowns, defects or damage occurring while a vehicle is in our possession where those issues have not resulted from the work carried out by Miss Wrapz.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
The following additional terms apply where Miss Wrapz is engaged as a subcontractor or provides installation or related services to another business.
Where these provisions conflict with the private-customer provisions above, these Business-to-Business & Subcontract Installation Terms will apply to the extent appropriate to the commercial engagement.
Unless otherwise agreed, Miss Wrapz will aim to attend site at approximately 9:00am.
A standard subcontracting day rate covers up to 8 working hours in one day.
Any working time exceeding 8 hours in a single day will be charged at £35 per hour, unless an alternative overtime rate has been agreed in writing before the work takes place.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, where the work location is more than a 20-mile radius from the relevant subcontractor's normal working base, mileage will be charged at £0.55 per mile.
Where the mileage charge applies, it is calculated on the applicable journey mileage, including the return journey, rather than only the mileage exceeding the 20-mile radius.
Any project-specific travel arrangement agreed in writing within a quotation, purchase order or other agreement will take precedence over this provision.
Where a project is more than approximately two hours' travel from the subcontractor's normal working base and overnight accommodation is reasonably required, suitable accommodation must be provided and paid for by the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accommodation should be reasonably located in relation to the installation site and suitable for the duration and working hours of the project.
The client is responsible for providing suitable conditions in which the agreed installation can safely and professionally take place.
Unless otherwise agreed, this includes:
Miss Wrapz reserves the right to refuse or postpone work where the working environment or access arrangements are unsafe or materially unsuitable for the installation.
Where work requires access to elevated areas, large commercial vehicles, trailers, buildings or other surfaces that cannot safely be reached from ground level, appropriate access equipment must be available.
This may include a:
Unless Miss Wrapz has specifically agreed to provide the equipment, the client is responsible for ensuring that suitable and compliant access equipment is available when required.
The client must inform Miss Wrapz before quotation or attendance where working at height or specialist access equipment will be required.
Where suitable equipment has not been provided or the requirement was not disclosed, any necessary equipment hire, delivery, collection, additional labour, waiting time or return visit may be additionally chargeable.
Miss Wrapz will not undertake work using access arrangements considered unsafe.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle, object or installation surface is ready for installation at the agreed start time.
This includes appropriate cleaning, preparation and access unless Miss Wrapz has specifically been contracted to undertake those services.
Any undisclosed cleaning, removal, preparation or additional work may delay the installation and result in additional charges.
Where additional work causes the project to extend beyond the booked working time, additional hours or days may be charged at the applicable rates.
Vehicles and installation surfaces must be clean and dry before installation.
Where a vehicle arrives wet, reasonable efforts may be made to dry it. However, water retained behind trims, seals, panel gaps, lights and other inaccessible areas may subsequently contaminate adhesive surfaces.
Installation failure directly attributable to a vehicle being supplied wet or to unsuitable environmental conditions provided by the client will not be covered by the Miss Wrapz installation warranty.
Where the client supplies vinyl, graphics, PPF, window film or other installation materials, the client is responsible for ensuring sufficient suitable material is available at the agreed installation time.
Miss Wrapz cannot accept responsibility for delays or additional labour caused by:
Where such circumstances result in additional working time, days, travel or return visits, these may be additionally chargeable.
The client must disclose known site restrictions, preparation requirements, vehicle availability issues and access requirements before work commences.
Additional cleaning, preparation, removal, waiting time, site restrictions, unavailable vehicles, missing materials, unsuitable access equipment or other circumstances attributable to the client may result in additional labour, overtime, travel or additional-day charges.
Where Miss Wrapz has reserved labour for a project and work cannot proceed because the vehicle, materials, site, access arrangements or other requirements are not available as agreed, the reserved time may remain chargeable.
Where a return visit is required as a result, additional travel, mileage, accommodation and labour may also be charged.
Business invoices are payable within the payment period stated on the relevant quotation or invoice.
Where a business invoice becomes overdue, Miss Wrapz reserves the right to exercise its statutory rights in relation to late commercial payments where applicable, including statutory interest, fixed compensation and reasonable recovery costs.
Alternative payment arrangements must be agreed in writing.
Vinyl wrapping and graphics installation are manual processes.
Where appropriate to the vehicle, material or design, recognised installation techniques including seams, overlaps, joins, relief cuts and inlays may be required.
Miss Wrapz will exercise reasonable care and skill and will make reasonable efforts to place such features discreetly.
Where a quotation, written project agreement, purchase order accepted by Miss Wrapz or other written agreement contains project-specific terms, those specifically agreed terms will take precedence over conflicting provisions within these general Terms & Conditions.
By booking services with Miss Wrapz Ltd, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions before entering into the agreement.
For online, telephone, email or social-media bookings, acceptance may be recorded through payment of a requested deposit, written confirmation of the booking, acceptance of a quotation, completion of a booking form or another clear affirmative acceptance process.
