A vehicle wrap/signwriting/window tint is an extremely hands-on process involving many challenging steps that each require full attention and expert craftsmanship. While your vehicle is with Miss Wrapz it is our top priority to return it to within the agreed timeframe. To assure this high level of quality, it is important that we both understand the following.
Sub Contracting
· A wrap is not a paint job and in rare cases may have overlapping seams, relief cuts, or other evidence that it is vinyl. Keep in mind that we will always go to every length to ensure that in the case of seams, they are placed in the most inconspicuous places possible.
· Miss Wrapz can be expected to be on site for 9.00am unless otherwise agreed.
· A day rate is the equivalent of 8 or less hours worked in a single day. Any hours worked over this in a single day will be charged at an overtime rate of £30 per hour.
· If the job is over 2 hours away from the sub contractors home address, accommodation must be provided and paid for by the client, unless otherwise agreed.
· If the job is over a 20 mile radius from the sub- contractors home address, fuel charges apply at £0.40 per mile, unless prior agreements are in place.
· Any undisclosed cleaning, additional work or prep of the vehicle/object, could potentially delay the job therefore additional payment may be required for extra days or hours worked.
· If the agreed payment terms are not adhered to, administration fees of £20 will be incurred for every day over the agreed payment terms. This is at management discretion.
· If the vehicle is wet upon arrival, while every effort will be made to ensure the vehicle is dry before installation, we cannot guarantee all water has drained/dried from cracks and crevasses therefore this could lead to adhesive failure. In this circumstance, Miss Wrapz, is not liable to replace vinyl or re-do work under guarantee.
· It is my responsibility to ensure that the vehicle/object is in the correct environmental condition i.e. Inside away from rain, wind and contamination, within a temperature-controlled environment as per the vinyl manufacturer guidelines to ensure a quality long-lasting wrap.
· Photos and/or videos of my vehicle may be taken and maybe used on social media and/or our website for marketing purposes. Please inform us in writing if you wish for us not to do so.
Private
· If excessive cleaning of my vehicle is required to carry-out the vinyl installation, a £30 excessive cleaning charge will apply as well as potentially delaying the completion of the job.
· I understand that I will be charged a minimum fee of £30 for each hour spent by Miss Wrapz removing existing graphics/coating, prepping body work and/or performing other duties to ensure longevity of the wrap on my vehicle.
· I understand that if I have prepped the vehicle myself such as sanding, adhesive removal, sticker removal etc then a guarantee on your wrap will not be offered. Should any more preparation be required prior to wrapping, we will contact you before commencing further prep.
· I understand that design proofs are created on a flat surface and viewed at a relatively small size on computer screens, therefore the final wrap may vary slightly from proofs due to curvature, obstacles, or other reasons outside of our control, however every effort will made by Miss Wrapz to keep it as close to the proof as physically possible.
· I agree that by signing the final design proof that the following information is correct, spelling, vehicle template, fonts, sizes and colours. Miss Wrapz is not liable should any of the information be incorrect, therefore should any of the work need completing again due to incorrect details, you as the customer will be liable for further charges including a removal fee to correct it.
· I understand that design proofs are visuals only and the exact colour may be difficult to replicate as a digital print. Miss Wrapz will make every effort to ensure it is as close to the design proof colours as possible, however due to the nature of the printing machines and design software, the colours may vary slightly.
· I understand that my vehicle will not be released from Miss Wrapz’s possession until full payment has been received unless previously agreed in writing.
· I understand that it’s my responsibility to pick up completed work in a timely manner once notified. Any items not claimed within 5 days of notification will be subject to a storage fee of £25 per day.
· I understand nothing can be rushed and by the time your installer has finished your wrap*, they have touched every inch of your vehicle at least 4 times.
· I understand that I will do a full check over of the vehicle before I take the vehicle and will raise any issues before leaving.
· I accept that Miss Wrapz Ltd. will not accept liability for any breakdown, damage or any other short comings, unless it can be proven that the damage, breakdown or short comings has directly come from the works carried out on the vehicle by Miss Wrapz.
· I understand that photos and/or videos of my vehicle may be taken and maybe used on social media and/or our website for marketing purposes. Please inform us in writing if you wish for us not to do so.
General
· A wrap* is not a paint job and in rare cases may have overlapping seams, relief cuts, or other evidence that it is vinyl. Keep in mind that we will always go to every length to ensure that in the case of seams, they are placed in the most inconspicuous places possible.
· To ensure the highest quality installation that the vehicle may need to be stripped including but not limited to; wing mirrors, spoilers, skirts, door handles, head and taillights etc. Any pre-existing faulty parts will be recorded and reported.
· It is your responsibility to check paint and body is in fair condition, and that the vehicle is clean prior to our arrival.
· Miss Wrapz is not liable for any damage to the clear coating and/or paint work in the event of removal of the vinyl.
· If the vehicle body has not been prepped by a reputable body shop, an installation guarantee will not be offered. Should any more body preparation be required prior to wrapping, this is to be addressed and dealt with by you.
· Any dashcams will be unplugged upon arrival at the premises.
· Miss Wrapz is not responsible for items lost, left behind, or stolen in the vehicle while in their possession.
· All invoice payments are final. I will not attempt to issue chargebacks, check-stops, or other methods of refund.
· Paint repairs on vehicles have advanced and sometimes very difficult for us to determine if a vehicle has sustained damage and/or been touched-up, repainted, buffed, or wet sanded, thus weakening the clear coat or actual paint adhesion to the body. For this reason, Miss Wrapz is not responsible for ANY damage to existing paint or clear coat.
· I understand that the vehicle may need to be driven whilst under the care of Miss Wrapz for a number of differing reasons. Miss Wrapz has sufficient vehicle insurance to cover for any accident whilst in their possession.
· Miss Wrapz has a valid public liability and public indemnity insurance which can be shared upon request.
· If proper aftercare is not be followed, Miss Wrapz will not be liable for any lifting, adhesive failure and/or damage to wrap caused by improper care. Any repairs under this circumstance, will be charged.
· Miss Wrapz Ltd. will not accept liability for any breakdown, damage or any other short comings, unless it can be proven that the damage, breakdown or short comings has directly come from the works carried out on the vehicle by Miss Wrapz.
· If there is lifting or bubbling while the vehicle wrap is under guarantee, I am able to return to Miss Wrapz for this to be corrected and made good. I also understand if the wrap is found to have lifted or bubbled and is directly caused by substandard paintwork, improper care and/or improper environmental install condition this invalidates the Miss Wrapz Guarantee.
· We guarantee installation of vinyl for 12 months for Oracal, Avery Dennison, 3M and Arlon and window film from Global Films for a lifetime.
· The manufacturer also provides a product warranty. Should that company decline a warranty claim on your product, Miss Wrapz is not responsible for any further warranty on your install.
· If faults are attempted to be rectified by either yourself or a third party, this will invalidate the Miss Wrapz warranty.
· I understand that the legal limit for front windows is 70% and the windscreen is 75%. Any tint film used over this amount cannot be used on public highways. We will only install the film on the basis that you will not drive the vehicle on public roads – only on private property.
· Primer may be used to ensure the quality and longevity of the vehicle wrap*, in places where the body or paint work is substandard. Miss Wrapz is not liable for any damage to the clear coating and/or paint work in the event of removal of the vinyl.
· Any modifications should be reported to your insurance by law. Equally, you must inform the DVLA if you have a colour change, whether it be a wrap or paint. We recommend making these changes prior to leaving the premises with your vehicle.
· It is my responsibility to ensure the windows are good condition and understand any defect pre-existing in the glass may affect the final outcome and life span of the tint film.
